What we liked
- + 40W output is enough for small passive speakers in a bedroom or office
- + Mini size fits on a desk or kitchen shelf
- + Simple controls suit casual listeners and background music
Trade-offs
- - Budget build quality limits sound for serious hi-fi
- - No phono stage, so turntables need a preamp first
