What we liked
- + 0.01 g resolution over a 0 to 5 g range, which covers the tracking force of home hi-fi and DJ cartridges
- + Zero setting and automatic shutoff after 2 minutes of inactivity
- + Blue backlit LCD stays readable in the dim light around a turntable, with six unit options
Trade-offs
- - The feature list does not state that the platform is non-magnetic, which matters with strong cartridge magnets
- - Sold in several near-identical color versions, which makes the model lineup confusing
