What we liked
- + USB, optical and coaxial inputs handle computers, TVs and consoles
- + RCA output doubles it as a DAC for powered speakers
- + Tiny, affordable box upgrades laptop headphone sound
Trade-offs
- - No analog input, so it cannot amplify a turntable phono stage directly
- - Limited power for hard-to-drive planar or high-impedance headphones
