What we liked
- + Comes with the Ortofon 2M Red elliptical cartridge, the same cartridge named on the deck it replaces.
- + High mass MDF plinth, metal platter and adjustable damping feet are listed to isolate vibration.
- + Speed control motor is listed at 0.07 percent wow and flutter, and the S-shaped tonearm has no electronics in the signal path.
Trade-offs
- - Phono preamp is not included, so a receiver or separate preamp with a phono input is needed.
- - Fluance is a less established name than Pro-Ject, and the listing shows the piano white finish.
