What we liked
- + Listing quotes up to 4600mW per channel, plenty of headroom for demanding headphones
- + Class AB discrete amplification is listed, a classic analog amp approach
- + Priced under $50, so it is a low-cost way to add a dedicated desktop headphone amp
Trade-offs
- - It is an amplifier only: it has no built-in DAC, so digital sources need a separate converter
- - The listing is brand new with limited detail, so check inputs and headphone jacks before buying
