What we liked
- + Fully automatic belt-drive operation, well suited to a first turntable or casual listening
- + Bluetooth output with aptX codec support sends records to wireless speakers and headphones
- + Also connects to wired audio systems and powered speakers with the included dual RCA output cable
Trade-offs
- - The listing gives little detail on the cartridge, platter or tonearm, so upgrade options are unclear
- - Bluetooth compresses the signal, so the wired RCA output remains the better path for careful listening
