What we liked
- + Coreless direct-drive motor inherited from the SL-1500C is designed for low vibration and stable playback
- + Ready to play: AT-VM95C cartridge included, phono EQ built in and a dust cover in the box
- + Bluetooth adds wire-free listening, and the compact 16.9 x 13.9 inch footprint is easy to place
Trade-offs
- - Premium price, far above budget direct-drive decks, so it only makes sense for a long-term hi-fi setup
- - No pitch control or USB output is mentioned, so it is a home hi-fi deck rather than a DJ tool
